Sounds of the Season’ open house is Dec. 4
AURORA — The public is invited to the Aurora Public Library’s 36th annual Holiday Celebrations in Many Lands exhibit this December at the West Branch, 233 S. Constitution Drive.
An open house with the theme “Sounds of the Season” is set for 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4.
Open house events include:
1 p.m. – Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus; raffles and contests begin; Bookmobile bilingual storytimes begin
2 p.m. – Waubonsie Valley High School’s women’s ensemble, The Pink Notes, will perform in the children’s area
2:15 p.m. – Sing-along in the children’s area
2:30 p.m. – Music by Suenos-Latin Jazz Quartet, pictures with Santa, crafts continue.
The Holiday Celebrations in Many Lands exhibit includes multicultural displays and more than 25 trees decorated in the traditions of countries around the world. The exhibit runs Dec. 1 through 31.
