To apply for a library card, complete our online application and visit any Aurora Public Library location in person to pick up your card for instant access to all your library resources. Please bring photo identification and proof of Aurora residency.
We accept the following documents:
Valid driver’s license or state ID
Current utility bill
Lease or mortgage agreement
Checks printed with full name and home address
Current paycheck (within the last 60 days)

Aurora Public Schools Student Cards:
Students of Aurora Public Schools(Aurora residents and non-residents) are eligible for student cards through the end of the 2020-2021 School Year.
Student cards grant automatic access to eMaterials and permits limited print materials to be checked out at any location.
Parents/Guardians of Aurora Public School Students may upgrade the student card to full access library cards by providing photo ID and proof of residency as listed above.
