The library is governed by a 9-person Board of Directors. Board members are appointed by the mayor to 3 year terms.

Board meetings are normally held on the the 4th Wednesday of the month January through October, and on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in November and December. Meetings may be rescheduled or cancelled; please check the library's event calendar for the most current meeting information.
