Chromebooks

    In-Library Use Chromebooks are available to check out for the day and to be used in the library only. In-Library Use Chromebooks are available at the Courtesy Services desk on a first-come, first-served basis.

    One-Week checkout Chromebooks are available for borrowing outside the library for one week. 

    • Customers are allowed to borrow one Chromebook at a time with no renewals.
    • A Chromebook may be checked out by any customer with a registered library card.
    • Customers may not install software on Chromebooks or alter/delete any settings or configurations.
    • Customers are responsible for damage to or loss of Chromebooks and accessories because of accident, theft, misuse, or neglect.
    • Customers are expected to report loss of or damage to the Chromebook or accessories to Courtesy Desk staff.
    • Replacement cost for a damaged Chromebook may be between $200 and $300.
    • Customers should familiarize themselves with the Internet and Computer Use policy and all other applicable library policies.

              You do not need a library card to borrow! They are available at all locations.

              • For the bike locks, you can set your own unique pin to lock.
              • The cell phone chargers have 3 different charging connectors, useful for most phone types, including iPhones and Android devices.

              Just sign them out, pickup, and return to the Customer Service Desk when you're leaving for the day.
