The Aurora Public Library will open for curbside hold pickup beginning May 18, 2020. Customers can place items on hold from home and library staff will contact customers when holds are ready to schedule a pickup time.

Please note, we will adjust our plans as things continue to develop. In addition, we will be processing items in the order they were requested, starting with the backlog of materials requested before the library closed. Thank you for your patience with extended waiting periods during this time!

How it Works

1.     Place items on hold using the library website and select a pickup location. Curbside/drive-thru hold pickup will be available at all three library locations.

2.     Once your items are available for pickup, library staff will call you to schedule a pickup time.

3.     At your scheduled pickup time:

  • Santori Library: Enter the drive-thru lane.
  • Eola Road Branch: Park in a designated pickup area and text your name to (630) 415-0199.
  • West Branch: Park in a designated pickup area and text your name to (630) 415-0197 or call (630) 264-3620.

*Please note: After you text the numbers provided for Eola Road Branch or West Branch, you will receive a welcome message with a link. Please click on the link and follow the instructions.

5.     Library staff will deliver materials in disposable bags with no direct contact:

  • By placing them in your trunk or through the passenger-side window at Eola Road Branch & West Branch.
  • Through the pickup window at Santori Library.
