People, buildings, cars, animals, the faraway, and the imaginary: what would you like to draw better?? Join artist Gene Ha to explore art as a process of observation, experiment, and play. Grades 6+.

Gene will teach you how to draw ANYTHING! Give an artist a pencil, paper, a camera phone, and a few simple principles and watch them draw anything. Add a web browser and their imagination, and they can even draw the faraway and the imaginary!

Artist Biography

Gene Ha is the artist on Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons Vol 2 with writer Kelly Sue DeConnick, from DC Comics. He has won four Eisner awards for his art including Alan Moore’s Top 10 and sundry Marvel & DC superhero comics. Gene also writes and draws Mae from Oni Press. The story of Mae Fortell, a girl who follows her long missing sister Abbie to a world of mad science and mystery. Gene lives outside Chicago in Berwyn, IL with his lovely wife Lisa.
