APLD seeking artists for permanent art installation

The Aurora Public Library District (APLD) is inviting local artists to be part of something extraordinary: the creation of a permanent art installation that will live at the heart of the Santori Library. This project, inspired by our Community Voices initiative, is more than just an artwork— it’s a chance to celebrate Aurora’s diversity, identity, and shared sense of community.

Día de Muertos celebrated at Aurora Library

Every fall, the Aurora Public Library District transforms into a vibrant space of joyful remembrance and cultural connection. Through colorful displays and family-friendly programs, we invite the community to honor Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) with us! This vibrant tradition honors the memory of loved ones who have passed and brings families together in a celebration of life.
