Board Games & Puzzles
Borrow up to two board games at a time for a period of one week using your APLD library card. Board games are available at all APLD locations.
To reserve a game:
- Place your board game(s) on hold by using the links in the game list below, or by navigating to our catalog and searching there.
- When your game is ready for pickup, we will notify you and you can come and pick it up.
- When you are done with your game, or when your one week are up, please return it. Games may not be left in book drops.

FAQs
Who can borrow a board game from the Library?
Anyone with an Aurora Public Library District card.
How many games can I borrow?
Two games at a time per Library card.
How long can I keep the games?
One week.
Can I renew my game?
Yes, each game can be renewed once as long as there are no holds on the game.
What happens if I lose a game piece/game?
When a game or its pieces are damaged, lost, or not returned, you may be billed the replacement cost of the item.
Where/when can I return my games?
At any APLD location. We ask not to place the games in the book drops.
What happens if I return a game late?
Although we are fine free and do not penalize for late fees, we ask that you return in a timely manner for others to enjoy!
Can I borrow more than one copy of the same game?
Yes!
Will the game have instructions?
Yes, all games have instructions.
Are instructions available in languages other than English?
When possible, we will also make instructions available in Spanish.
What do I do if my game is missing pieces when I pick it up?
Please mark on the condition form inside the box lid to let us know how many pieces are missing.
