Adult Book Box

Cardboard Box labeled book box with library items and swag inside. Like subscriptions to things? Our Adult Book Boxes offer a contemporary way to engage with your library and reading. Each box is an individualized reading experience containing a library book already checked-out to you based on your preferences, and some fun bookish extras or library swag.

How it Works

Sign up for a Book Box and you'll get a library book chosen specifically for you, plus other some fun surprises, six times a year!
Book Boxes are released every other month in February, April, June, August, October, December.
All Book Box subscriptions will run February 2026 to December 2026.
An Aurora Public Library District card is required, and your library book will be pre-checked out to you.
Boxes will be ready for pickup the second week of the month and you will have 3 weeks to pick up your book box.
Subscribers are encouraged to return boxes to reuse again.
Two missed box pickups in a row will remove you as a subscriber.
