Community Voices Art Reveal at Aurora Library

A community grows stronger when each voice has the opportunity to tell its story. At the Aurora Public Library District, we created the Community Voices initiative to provide a space for people in Aurora to share their personal narratives, learn from their neighbors, and see themselves reflected in our city. Community Voices shares these stories to celebrate diverse experiences, cultivate empathy within our community, and foster meaningful connections. That sense of connection now takes a visual form through the installation of a new permanent art piece at the Santori Library. This painting reminds every library visitor that your story matters, and together, these stories shape a stronger Aurora.
