What is a Seed Swap? It's like a potluck, but with seeds - great for both avid and aspiring gardeners. Bring seeds to share if you have them, and go home with new seeds to try! They can be seeds you gathered last season or purchased seeds. Heirloom seeds are especially welcome. Our Seed Swap takes place on National Seed Swap Day--held in January so participants have time to start seeds indoors before planting time in the spring. This event also gives you a great chance to talk with other area gardeners, and master gardeners from the University of Illinois Extension Service will be here to answer questions and provide expert help.
